Folk Art Fish: Catch of the Day, Art Workshop with Jacqueline Rimmler
Join artist Jackie Rimmler to use reclaimed wood, vibrant paint, fun findings, and your imagination to bring home the day’s catch.
We’ll use reclaimed pallet wood already cut into a fish shape and bright fun paint to create a one-of-a-kind fun 3-dimensional folk-art fish you can hang on a wall or sit on a shelf. If you have any fun “findings” (pieces of jewelry, metal pieces, etc.) we’ll work to incorporate them in your design to finish your own work of art.
This playful project presents you with a fun way to get into your creative juices flowing, loosen up, and make delightful artwork. At the end of the session, you’ll bring home a completed folk-art fish, some new skills, and a big smile.
For adults and mature teens.
