Guided Forest Walk at RambleRill Farm
Join us at RambleRill Farm for guided forest walks this spring! Our forest walks (also known as forest therapy or forest bathing) are inspired by the Japanese practice of shinrin-yoku—conscious envelopment in the sights, smells and sounds of the forest. During the walk, you will awaken your senses and relax in the present moment. Your guide will invite you to use the five senses to engage with nature. The point is not to reach a destination, or to exercise, or to identify the flora and fauna; the time in the forest is devoted to sensing and to being. Research shows that forest therapy walks benefit the mind and the body by, for example, reducing subjective feelings and biological measures of stress. Forest therapy walks also improve mood and concentration, enhance well-being and boost immune function. Ticket info here.
