Adoptable Pet of the Week – Myers

Every other week, Chapel Hill Magazine features an adoptable animal from Paws4ever

Meet Myers! He is as soft as a bunny and ready to show off his tricks and fun personality. In a kennel-based shelter, animals often feel high levels of stress and frustration. But the staff at Paws4ever have found creative ways to help Myers work through those feelings. Some of these include playing with other dogs often, giving him space to run around and reducing the number of stressors he experiences. When Myers spends time in the front office of Paws4ever, it is very frustrating when new people come in and out of the building but when the staff sit with him or toss treats to distract him, he is able to relax. One of his favorite things to do is to sit in a staff member’s lap and get scratches. Myers has been looking for his forever family and if you think you might give him that, call us at 919-241-8438 ext. 103 to make an appointment to meet him!
