Athena is certainly a goddess, and she quickly won the hearts of staff and volunteers at Orange County Animal Services. She loves long walks, is attentive to commands and needs someone who can go slow with her and show her that life doesn’t have to be scary. Athena may benefit from a quieter home with no very young children in order to really blossom. And she’ll likely do best as the only dog in the home (she has gotten into scuffles with other dogs in the past). She’s eager to learn and please her humans.
