ChesseyMeet Chessey! This super-sized kitty is around 8 years old and looking for a new place to call home. Chessey is a shy guy, who takes a little time to settle in to a new place and get to know you. Once he feels safe, he is content to sit for hours by your side while you work or lounge, just keeping you company and enjoying a few head rubs here and there. Though he may be a bashful fellow, you wouldn’t think it looking at him. He has a commanding presence, mostly due to his size! Chessey is quite large for a cat, weighing in at around 22 pounds! And while he could definitely benefit from a weight loss plan, it isn’t just extra weight that makes him so big. He’s got a larger-than-average frame for a cat, and is roughly as tall and long as a small-medium size dog! As impressive as his physique may be, it is ultimately his endearing personality that will capture your heart. This big boy has big love to give, and is sure to make a new family very lucky.

The adoption fee for Cats & Kittens includes the following services: spaying/neutering, deworming, vaccinations and feline leukemia testing.

Thanks to our sponsors, new owners of each adopted featured pet will receive a $25 gift card to Piedmont Feed & Garden Center, a pet pillow from Sew Fine II and a complimentary exam at Park Veterinary Hospital (within three days of adoption date).
