Sometimes you just need a classic breakfast full of sausage, eggs, biscuits and warm cinnamon apples from Elmo’s… and then a nap afterwards.

We were feeling pretty fancy grabbing this cocktail at Trilogy bar before a movie at Silverspot. (Thanks, Alexan, for the great night out!)
When they head to Al’s, assistant editor Laura Kirk and her husband Jessime have a system. Jessime has a burger rotation that includes the Classic, Mookie, Sean’s Bacon Cheddarburger and Kenny J. Laura oscillates between the Paco and Bobo Chili Cheeseburger, back and forth in line, before finally making a decision at the register. Paco won out this time.
Have you all tried lunch at Bagel Bar? Because this pimento cheese open sandwich (half presented here) is delightful! Just what we needed to get through Durham’s December press week last week.
