THURSDAY:

Stop by The PIT Chapel Hill for a night of comedic genius as the Fabulous Karmyn, a Charlotte-based drag diva and social media star, performs her show “A Hustler and A Queen.” Hosted by DJ Teddy Bee and featuring Charlotte-based comedian CoCo Fresh, the show will benefit the Orange County Rape Crisis Center and raise awareness for male victims of domestic, sexual and systematic abuse. 

FRIDAY:

In honor of International Women’s Day, Frank Community Gallery of Chapel Hill is hosting Women Speak,” a celebration of women giving voice to the feminine experience through portraits, poetry and prose. Join them for their artist reception from 6 to 9pm, and then enjoy a display of works by local artist Nancy L. Smith and written works from others until Sunday.

SATURDAY:

Kickstart the day of the Duke vs. UNC game with a 5K race that celebrates the longtime rivals at the Blue Blood Rivalry Run – Hoops EditionDeclare your allegiance and receive your race shirt in either Duke Blue or Carolina Blue before the race starts in Meadowmont Village.

SUNDAY:

Experience a side of Israel rarely seen in the news, through the weeklong Reel Israel Documentary Film Festival hosted by Chelsea Theater. The festival will feature multiple award-winning and critically acclaimed films focusing on emotional depictions of Israeli family life and culture.
