PlayMakers Exhibit at Wilson Library – Thursday-Friday, 9am-5pm; Saturday, 9am-1pm; Sunday, 1pm-5pm – Explore the creative exhibit “Setting the Stage at PlayMakers Repertory Company: 40+ Years of Magic” until March 4. It features sketches, photographs, props and costumes from past and present shows held at PlayMakers.

The Big Lonesome – Thursday, 8pm – Jam with this Boston indie-rock band at The Cave to support their new EP, Fascination. The band will be opening for Nathan Arizona & The New Mexicans along with Native Harrow and Juliana Finch.

“Michael Banks: Art to Live By” – Friday-Saturday, 10am-4pm; Sunday,12pm-4pm – View the start of this unique 26-piece art collection by Michael Banks held by The Alliance for Historic Hillsborough and Mike’s Art Truck. The display will be available to see through April at the Alexander Dickson House.

Bat-Prov in the Dark – Friday, 9pm – Start off the weekend getting spooked and letting your imagination run wild with an improv show at PIT Chapel Hill. Tickets are $10.

Proto Futuro 4 – Saturday, 10pm – Bring your moves and dance the night away at Nightlight Bar & Club to enjoy a night filled with electro and R&B music. The night will feature DJ Bridget Walsh as Brenda, Gallimaufry, Pete Linck and Lady Fingers. Tickets are $7 for members and $8 for non-members.

Women’s Voices Chorus – Sunday, 3pm – Enjoy a moving winter performance by the Women’s Voices Chorus at University United Methodist Church. Inspired by the Walt Whitman poem, “Song of the Universal” includes pieces from Norwegian composer Ola Gjeilo, Vivaldi and contemporary composers Abbie Betinis and Gwyneth Walker. Tickets are $17 for adults and $7 for students.

Color Across Asia – Sunday, 3:30pm – Come see a range of vibrant colors at Ackland Art Museum and listen to an expert speaker for each color as one takes a look at Japanese palettes through Kimono, quilts and the color of tea. Tickets are $20 for the public and $18 for members. Students get in free.
