Thursday

Head to Memorial Hall and listen to the North Carolina Symphony as they perform holiday classics such as “Christmas at the Movies,” “White Christmas” and “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.” Part of the North Carolina Symphony’s Statewide Holiday Pops, tickets will start at $49, with discount rates for group packages.

Friday

Join the Town of Carrboro for a free viewing of the 22nd annual Holiday Tree Lighting at 6pm in the front of Carrboro Town Hall. The choral group from Carrboro Elementary School will perform holiday songs, followed by the tree lighting.

Saturday

Come be a part of a wonderful holiday tradition in the Triangle: The Chapel Hill-Carrboro Holiday Parade! Presented by the Town of Chapel Hill, experience the exciting sights and sounds of marching bands, vocalists, beautifully decorated floats and youth group performances from 10am-noon.

Sunday

Cat’s Cradle is hosting a toy drive and hurricane relief concert, partnering with rapper SkyBlew to collect toys, non-perishable goods such as baby formula, canned goods, household supplies, and raise donations for victims of Hurricane Florence and Hurricane Michael. The show goes from 3-9pm with doors opening at 2pm, featuring SkyBlew along with other local North Carolina artists: J Rowdy & The NightShift, War In The Pocket, Mayday and I, Star. Admission to the show requires donating something off the list of items.
