‘Stick Fly’
PlayMakers Repertory Company stages this dramatic comedy written by Lydia R. Diamond and directed by Kathryn Hunter Williams. Tensions escalate after the LeVay brothers bring their new girlfriends to a relaxing weekend at their beach house to meet the family. Tickets may be purchased online or at the box office.


Pull up to The Drive-In at Carraway Village to watch the latest installment of the horror movie franchise. Showtimes are at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, and 8:15 p.m. on Saturday.


Women’s Basketball
UNC takes on the University of Virginia Cavaliers at 6 p.m. in the Carmichael Arena.


BMLB at Yonder: Southern Cocktails and Brew
Folk-Americana band The Brown Mountain Lightning Bugs, comprised of couple Kendra Harding and Zack Harding, perform their latest album, “Folk(ish),” at Yonder: Southern Cocktails & Brew starting at 8 p.m.

Jphono1 ‘Rectify Mercy’ Album Release Show
John ‘Jphono1’ Harrison and collaborators John Crouch and Jimmy Thompson take the stage at Cat’s Cradle to perform his latest album. Expect an eclectic sound that incorporates influences from his previous work. Doors open at 7 p.m.

Cosmic Charlie
The Athens, Georgia-based band produces a Grateful Dead-like experience but infuses their own energy into the music while keeping a familiar edge. Doors open at Cat’s Cradle at 8 p.m.


Binkley Black Lives Matter Vigil
Join members of Binkley Baptist Church every fourth Saturday to remember and honor victims of police brutality from noon-1 p.m.

‘Sonic the Hedgehog’
Watch the video game-turned-action movie at The Drive-In at Carraway Village at 5:45 p.m.

The Pink Stones, Teddy & The Rough Riders
Head to Cat’s Cradle to hear the fresh country-rock rhythms of The Pink Stones from Athens, Georgia, and The Rough Riders from Nashville, Tennessee. Doors open at 7 p.m.

Family Yoga Party
Join Monarch Movement Company for snacks, crafts and movement from 4-6 p.m, with a special session for younger children starting at 4:30 p.m. Registration is required, and yoga mats are suggested.


‘The Carolina Union Proudly Presents: Memories of the Tech Crew of Memorial Hall’
Local author Scott Madry discusses his new book about working on Frank Porter Graham Student Union’s tech crew from 1969-1979. The presentation takes place on Zoom from 3-4 p.m.

Winter Open House at Carolina Grove
Take a tour of the venue and chat with wedding vendors while enjoying drinks and hors d’oeuvres. The open house runs from 3-5 p.m., and registration is recommended.

An Afternoon of Beethoven
