THURSDAY: 

Network with local community leaders and enjoy food and drinks at The Chamber For a Greater Chapel Hill-Carrboro and The Carrboro Business Alliance’s Business After Hours at Vecino Brewing Co. from 5:30-7:30pm. 

FRIDAY: 

Day two of the UNC Clean Tech Summit at the William and Ida Friday Center for Continuing Education features keynote speakers, breakout sessions, a book signing and a career fair for a comprehensive look at environmental technology. The event focuses on the circular economy, the rise of energy storage, transforming our transportation systems and our rapidly evolving energy landscape. 

SATURDAY: 

The Maria Schneider Orchestra headlines the 43rd Carolina Jazz Festival in Memorial Hall. The festival, led by UNC’s Director of Jazz Studies Jim Ketch, includes performances by touring bands, artists in residence, faculty and students. Additionally, catch selections from a dozen of the best high school jazz bands as they take part in the North Carolina Regional “Essentially Ellington” High School Jazz Festival. 

SUNDAY:

The Carolina Inn hosts its 25th annual Event Showcase, an afternoon of cuisine and the latest trends in event design including hair, makeup, photography and florals. Consult professional vendors and sample cakes and flowers, listen to music and view formal attire from top couture designers.
