“I Understand Everything Better” will be showing Friday and Saturday at CURRENT ArtSpace + Studio. From left, John Gasper, David Neumann and Jennifer Kidwell at Abrons Arts.

Come see the Little Green Pig Theatrical Concern perform “The Piano Has Been Drinking: A Tom Waits Cabaret” at The Pit. This humorous homage to the singer-songwriter starts at 9:30pm.

Join Carolina Performing Arts at CURRENT ArtSpace + Studio for “I Understand Everything Better,” a multidisciplinary dance-based performance by Bessie Award-winning choreographer/performer David Neumann. The show is a deeply felt work that intersperses elements of Kabuki, video, music and text, while blurring the lines between truth and fiction.

Get your tickets to Potterpalooza: A Family Night at Hogwarts at Kidzu Children’s Museum from 6:30 to 8:30pm. This Harry Potter-themed night includes a family friendly escape room, wand making, cookie decorating, dinner from Alfredo’s Pizza and more!

Dance the night away at the second day of Cat’s Cradle‘s 2nd annual Django Reinhardt Festival, a jazz event featuring music workshops and live performances from Rhythm Future Quartet and Onyx Club Boys (if you plan on coming to the event Saturday, too!).
