“I Understand Everything Better” will be showing Friday and Saturday at CURRENT ArtSpace + Studio. From left, John Gasper, David Neumann and Jennifer Kidwell at Abrons Arts.

THURSDAY

Come see the Little Green Pig Theatrical Concern perform “The Piano Has Been Drinking: A Tom Waits Cabaret” at The Pit. This humorous homage to the singer-songwriter starts at 9:30pm.

FRIDAY

Join Carolina Performing Arts at CURRENT ArtSpace + Studio for “I Understand Everything Better,” a multidisciplinary dance-based performance by Bessie Award-winning choreographer/performer David Neumann. The show is a deeply felt work that intersperses elements of Kabuki, video, music and text, while blurring the lines between truth and fiction.

SATURDAY
