THURSDAY

See the world premiere of “Jump” by playwright Charly Evon Simpson at PlayMakers Repertory Company. This emotional story of two strangers finding hope and solace in times of grief starts at 7:30pm (there’s also other showings throughout the weekend). Tickets are $15.

FRIDAY

Visit the Margaret Lane Gallery for the “Points of Arrival and Departure” opening reception, 6-9pm. The show will feature photography from David Knox and other local and visiting artists illustrating the beginnings and endings of journeys using public transportation.

Saturday

Explore and experience a variety of delicious meals from local restaurants during Triangle Restaurant WeekCity Kitchen, Weathervane, Kipos Greek Taverna and Talullas are all taking part, offering special three-course menus with a fixed price of $15.

SUNDAY

Searching for the perfect florist, photographer or hair stylist for your special day? The 24th Annual Event Showcase at The Carolina Inn is hosting a number of vendors presenting the latest trends, along with free dessert samples! Tickets are $15, with the showcase starting at noon.
