THURSDAY

Prepare for a comedy-filled night with “Double Trouble,” featuring back-to-back performances from Big Bad Bear Improv and the Bottom Line Burlesque & Comedy Troupe at King Street Bar, 7:30-9:30pm. Watch them perform longform improv and satirize burlesque while they explore gender and promote body positivity. Donations will benefit The UNC Center of Excellence for Eating Disorders. Performance is for 21 and older.

FRIDAY

Esteemed dance company Compagnie Marie Chouinard returns to Carolina Performing Arts at Memorial Hall with “Hieronymous Bosch: The Garden of Earthly Delights” at 8pm. Set against the backdrop of Bosch’s magnificent painting, the performance explores three periods of original sin: Paradise, Hell and The Garden of Delights. The show contains nudity and may not be suitable for anyone under 16. Tickets are $37.

SATURDAY

Join UNC-Chapel Hill Department of Music in celebrating their 100th anniversary with Spectrum Concert at the James and Susan Moeser Auditorium in Hill Hall, 7:30pm. The concert includes performances from UNC Chamber Singers, the Carolina Bluegrass Band, UNC Opera and more. Tickets are $10 and are available at the door.

SUNDAY

Come out to Preservation Chapel Hill’s opening reception for their February exhibition, “MURMURATIONS,” at Horace Williams House, 2-4pm. Featuring the art of Kiki Farish, Melinda Fine and Ross Ford, the show brings to life the movement and energy of starling murmurations, a phenomenon where birds fly in unison, creating beautiful intricate patterns in the sky.
