Kick off the final weekend of June with live music, virtual discussions, the grand opening of Hillsborough’s newest boutique and more

Take a peek at the final showing of Michael Salemi, Chris Graebner and Jason Smith’s artwork in the Hillsborough Gallery of Arts. The pieces are inspired by the artists’ travels as well as their desire to include both constructive and balanced designs.  


Compose Carolina
Carolina Performing Arts hosts a livestreamed production featuring Carolina composer Eliana Fishbeyn. UNC Department of Music professors Allen Anderson, Stephen Anderson and Lee Weiser will also join Eliana for an interpretive exploration of the theme “Looking Forward.” The performance begins at noon on Facebook Live, YouTube Live or the Carolina Performing Arts’ website. 


Boutique on Millstone
Formalwear Outlet hosts a grand opening for its latest endeavor – a women’s boutique – from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. As a special thanks to those who attend, the store will give a 20% discount to each customer’s entire purchase.


Virtual Village Green Music Series
Southern Village continues its summer series with the Durham Ukulele Orchestra live on Facebook at 7 p.m.
