Soul: Community Organizers 
Check out the third part of the Chapel Hill Public Library’s virtual exhibit, “I Was Still Singing: Stories From Women Who Changed Chapel Hill,” which discusses early community organizing efforts in Chapel Hill’s Black community, along with important roles that Black women played locally in the Civil Rights Movement. 

Saint Patrick’s Day with Goats
Hunt for Hidden Good Luck Charms that will lead you to animals around Spring Haven Farm! Ride on the Tractor Train Express, create at the Craft station or relax with goats.

The Drive-in at Carraway Village
Pull up to the drive-in theater at Carraway Village for a screening of “Raya and the Last Dragon” Thursday – Saturday, and “Cherry” on Sunday. Concessions are available for purchase.


Carrboro Connects Community Workshop 
Attend Carrboro Connect’s community workshop for a collaborative planning effort to address climate action, race and equity, affordable housing, and economic and fiscal sustainability. The workshop will be held from 7-9 p.m.


Composting Virtual Workshop 
The North Carolina Botanical Garden and Orange County Solid Waste Management Department host a free virtual workshop from noon-1 p.m. on how to set up an at-home compost system. Hear about the benefits of composting and learn how to use finished compost in your garden.


Teen Meditation in Temple Garden
The Won Buddhism Meditation Temple hosts an outdoor meditation session between 2-3 p.m. for teens to welcome the spring equinox. To RSVP, contact wontemplenc@gmail.com.  

The Martha Bassett Show Livestream  
The ArtsCenter partners with The Martha Bassett Show to present a folk music-inspired radio show featuring Bill and the Belles, Abigail Dowd and Snüzz from 7-8:30 p.m. 


Live Music with J Candeed
Botanist and Barrel hosts an afternoon of outdoor live music from 3-5 p.m. by Mississippi-born J Candeed (Joel Vance), a musician who puts a psychedelic twist on folk and bluegrass tunes. 

The Spark with Tift Merritt featuring Hope Boykin 
Carolina Performing Arts presents the sixth episode of The Spark with Tift Merritt, a livestreamed series where Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter and UNC alumna Tift Merritt interviews artists about their creative processes. This episode features Durham-native Hope Boykin, an acclaimed dancer, choreographer and creator.

Paddy Wagon St. Patty’s Day Celebration
Stop by Botanist and Barrel to try some of the best fish and chips in the Triangle from The Paddy Wagon food truck in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day! The Paddy Wagon will be open from 1-5 p.m.
