Dwarf Star Presents: Michael Daughtry & the Drift, Hustle Souls and Westerner
This livestreamed monthly concert series hosted by the Carrboro-based recording studio features Michael Daughtry, a singer-songwriter whose “songs reflect the trials and joys of life;” the Asheville-based band Hustle Souls; and Westerner, an electronic, psychedelic rock band from Los Angeles. 

The Spark with Tift Merritt: Robin Fohardt
During this livestreamed episode at 7:30 p.m., Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Tift Merritt sits down with an award-winning artist and puppet designer for a discussion about her work, residency at Carolina Performing Arts, and the evolution and experiences driving her work.


Bloodline at Graduate Chapel Hill 
The Graduate Chapel Hill hosts Bloodline for live music in the Trophy Room. Cocktails and hot bites will be available for purchase.  

Evening on the Piazza
Il Palio at The Siena Hotel partners with Carrie Brogren of Chapel Hill-Carrboro Foodies to bring a two-hour evening filled with signature cocktails, oysters and other small bites, and live acoustic music by Penny’s Bend. Part of ticket proceeds benefit Orange County Meals on Wheels.


Revolutionary War Living History Day 
The Alliance for Historic Hillsborough hosts a family-friendly day featuring live reenactments, dancers, tours and interactive activities exploring the history of Hillsborough’s role in the American Revolution.

Art in the Garden Sculpture Exhibition
Garden Art Gallery hosts the final day of its 26th annual outdoor sculpture exhibition, spread across acres of gardens and outdoor open spaces. The event is free, but reservations are required.

Mothers, Makers, & Mentors
Hope Renovations hosts a pre-Mother’s Day bird feeder-building workshop in Fitch Lumber’s parking lot from 10 a.m. to noon The event raises money for the nonprofit’s programs, which trains women for jobs in the trades and helps older adults with mid-sized repairs and renovations. 


The Pittsboro Youth Theater Presents Descendants the Musical 
The volunteer-driven community theater organization performs the one-act musical comedy based on Disney Channel’s “Descendants” at the Southern Village amphitheater, with showings at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturday and 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Sunday.
