Join La Vita Dolce Espresso & Gelato Cafe for its fifth annual Paint a Pumpkin event. Warm up with a pumpkin spice latte, cool down with pumpkin pie gelato, or enjoy a freshly brewed pumpkin beer – all of this while you paint your own pumpkin to take home!

Dress up in your favorite plant or animal costume and celebrate fall with nature festivities at the North Carolina Botanical Garden’s Bootanical Family Festival. Beat the spider obstacle course, create a leaf critter, craft your own magic wand, and wander around the carved pumpkin display.

Wear your Carolina blue at the UNC’s Homecoming. Tar Heels of all ages are welcomed to join the Bell Tower Bash, Sunday Serenade Brunch and the UNC Football vs. Duke University game, as well as participate in any reunions relatable to their time as a student.

Paperhand Puppet Intervention and Triangle Afrobeat Orchestra come to Southern Village for a special extravaganza benefitting the Chapel Hill-Carrboro Public School Foundation. Watch as giant puppets, masks and shadow puppets come to life with live music. If you wear a costume, you can walk in the featured Halloween costume parade!
