Adoptable Pet of the Week – River

Every other week, Chapel Hill Magazine features an adoptable animal from Paws4Ever.

River is a 2-year-old adoptable kitty at Paws4ever.

River is the perfect cat for those who want a quiet companion. She is about 2 years old and came to Paws4ever with her two 5-month-old kittens, Raine and Rowan. She was very shy at first and did not enjoy human affection but has since come out of her shell. She now enjoys affection and will nuzzle and purr for staff and volunteers who visit with her. You will usually find her napping in a bundle of blankets or in a basket on the cat tree. She will do well in a home both as an only cat or with a social butterfly to help her continue to open up. Give us a call at 919-241-8438 ext. 103 if you’d like to make an appointment to visit with River!

Paws4ever, located at 6311 Nicks Rd. in Mebane, is dedicated to creating and growing lifetime relationships between pets and people through adoption, training, education and care. For more information, visit paws4ever.org, email adopt@paws4ever.org or call 919-241-8438 ext. 103. Visits to the Paws4ever Adoption Center will be by appointment only in order to mitigate risks related to COVID-19 out of an abundance of caution, and to protect its community.
