Indulge your inner child with a family-friendly mystical night of music, magic and craft-making at the North Carolina Botanical Garden’s Wonderfest on Saturday, Sept. 26. Fit right in among the garden’s verdant scenery with a magical costume (think pixies and princesses) and enjoy enchanted activities like building fairy and gnome homes, planting seedlings, interacting with live animals and constructing marshmallow catapults with ambassadors from the NC State School of Engineering. Bluegrass band Steph Stewart & the Boyfriends will provide tunes while guests play and picnic (bring your own food, or purchase from on-site food trucks) in the garden.
Wonderfest showcases NCBG’s Youth & Family and Wonder Connection programs. Youth & Family offers classes, workshops, camps and clubs to children and families; Wonder Connection provides hands-on natural science activities that bring joy to hospitalized children. Admission is $20 per family. For more information, click here.
