THURSDAY:

Join UNC’s Center for the Study of the American South for Music on the Porch as singer-songwriters from the Triangle and Triad battle it out at Love House & Hutchins Forum. Bring a picnic blanket, sit back and relax, while listening to music from Jon Shain, FJ Ventre and Rissi Palmer.

FRIDAY:

Celebrate the 50th anniversary of the first humans to walk on the moon and explore all things lunar at the annual Star Party at Chapel Hill Public Library. Watch archival footage of the first moon landing, speak to a NASA ambassador, peer into a telescope and more.

Try a variety of delicious food and drinks while jamming out to live music at Funk Down on the Farm at Cedar Grove Blueberry Farm. The inaugural festival features over 30 craft beverage producers and food vendors, as well as a fermented tasting bar. The event is age 21 and up.

SUNDAY:

Hunt for hand-painted wooden eggs and trade them in for sweet treats at Chapel Hill’s inaugural Plastic-Free Eggstravaganza at 140 West Plaza. The environmentally friendly festival includes a transformed spring garden and a variety of egg-themed activities, such as games and arts and crafts.
