
Shakori Hills Grassroots Festival – Thursday through Sunday – The twice-a-year festival is back for its spring rendition featuring can’t-miss performances from dozens of artists and bands like Lost Bayou Ramblers, Dex Romweber, Big Fat Gap and Paperhand Puppet Intervention in Pittsboro.
Triangle Green Home Tour – Saturday and Sunday, noon-5pm – Put on by the Home Builders Association of Durham, Orange & Chatham Counties, this tour is your chance to see local homes that have met certain green standards and walk away feeling inspired. Best of all, the self-guided tour is FREE and you can visit how many ever homes you can fit into the two afternoons!
Carrboro Elementary School Fair – Saturday, 10am-2pm – Don’t miss an afternoon of games, a silent auction, food and fun for the whole family.
Carrboro Day – Sunday, 1-5pm – Celebrate Carrboro with poetry readings, food trucks, a kids obstacle course, family games, live craft demos, history presentation and more on the Carrboro Town Hall grounds and Town Commons.
Rhiannon Giddens – Sunday, 7:30pm – The soulful singer returns to the area after a busy year – she made her acting debut on “Nashville” and dropped her album “Freedom High.”
