THURSDAY
Celebrate female friendships at The Barn of Chapel Hill at Wild Flora Farm for its Galentine’s Day Friends and Flowers Workshop. Learn the basics on floral design during this hands-on workshop led by The Barn’s creative director and florist, Jenn Wood.
FRIDAY
Enjoy a Valentine’s Day dinner at La Residence, Bin 54, City Kitchen, Kipos Greek Taverna, Crossroads Chapel Hill or any of the many local restaurants offering a special Valentine’s menu for a romantic evening.
SATURDAY
Join The Alliance for Historic Hillsborough for its annual Revolutionary War Living History Day. Learn about the history of the Revolutionary War in Hillsborough with military reenactors, cooking and crafting demonstrations, games, music, storytelling and more hands-on activities for participants of all ages.
SUNDAY
Watch actor and playwright Mike Wiley’s one-man play, “Breach of Peace,” at the William and Ida Friday Center for Continuing Education. Mike pays tribute to the Freedom Riders of the early 1960s in which civil rights activists rode buses through the South in protest of segregated bus terminals.
