The 42nd annual Carolina Jazz Festival features musicians ranging from high school students to touring artists. Bryan Carter (pictured here) will join the Faculty Jazz Ensemble, UNC Jazz Band and UNC Jazz Combos on the drums in various performances.

Catch New Orleans trumpeter Christian Scott aTunde Adjuah headline the 42nd annual Carolina Jazz Festival in Memorial Hall. The weekend-long event includes public performances by touring bands, artists in residence, faculty and students, plus workshops and master classes for students.


Celebrate Hillsborough’s vital role during North Carolina’s colonial era and the American Revolution at the Revolutionary War Living History Day. The Alliance for Historic Hillsborough have put together hands-on festivities that include historic reenactments, live demonstrations, colonial games and Revolutionary War walking tours. Free admission.
