The recently renamed Bakova Gallery in Hillsborough celebrates the grand opening of its speakeasy. The gallery, which is stop No. 8 on Hillsborough’s Last Friday Art Walk, will also showcase its newest art exhibits; grab a $5 Old Fashioned from 5-10pm as you peruse the new works.
VibeHouse405, the recording studio on West Franklin Street, hosts an art reception, live performances and an afterparty to celebrate the grand reopening of its newly renovated studio and art gallery.
She’s The First, a nonprofit organization that fights gender inequality, celebrates International Women’s Day early with its annual afternoon tea at The Carolina Inn. This event features a panel of guest speakers and a silent auction to support scholarships for young women in India, Guatemala and other countries.
