We’re getting all the feels of fall with basketball, s’mores and stories under the stars!

THURSDAY:

Break out your Carolina basketball gear for the first home UNC Women’s Basketball game of the season. Don’t miss head coach Courtney Banghart’s first official game in Carmichael Arena vs. Western Carolina.

FRIDAY:

Invite some friends and head to the 2nd Friday ArtWalk events throughout Chapel Hill and Carrboro. Enjoy the fall weather and take in live music, food, art demonstrations and more at different venues. 

SATURDAY:

Head to the Salt & Smoke Festival at Rock Quarry Farm for food, drinks, live music and bonfires. Try the barbecue, oysters, Southern food prepared by chef Kevin Callaghan, s’mores, beer from Foothills Brewing and cocktails by TOPO Organic Distillery. There will also be musical performances by Big Fat Gap and Johnathan Byrd & the Pickup Cowboys.

SUNDAY:

Get an insider’s look at art studios and shop for unique works during the 25th annual Orange County Artists Guild Open Studio Tour. Visitors can view the work of more than 80 local artists, including potters, glass blowers, sculptors, jewelers, fiber artists and painters.
