Every other week, Chapel Hill Magazine features an adoptable animal from Orange County Animal Services.
This is the face Nora makes when you tell a bad joke. If you adopt her, she’ll always be honest with you in this way. At just over 1 year old, she has a whole lifetime’s worth of disapproving eye rolls to share with you. Drop by Orange County Animal Services and meet her today. She’s likely your soul mate.
The adoption fee for cats and kittens includes the following services: spaying/neutering, deworming, microchipping, vaccinations and feline leukemia testing.
Orange County Animal Services is responsible for animal sheltering and animal control activities within Orange County. Its mission is to meet the needs of residents by working with volunteers and other partners to deliver cost-effective and integrated services that ensure the health, safety and well-being of humans, pets and the community as a whole. The Animal Services Center is open to the public Monday, Wednesday and Friday from noon–6 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday from noon–7:30 p.m.; and Saturday from noon–5 p.m. For more information, visit orangecountync.gov/animalservices or call 919-942-PETS (7387).
