Adoptable Pet of the Week: Pixie

Pixie is the prettiest little cat this side of the Mississippi

Every other week, Chapel Hill Magazine features an adoptable animal from Orange County Animal Services.

Pixie may be named after a supernatural being in folklore and children’s stories, or she might be named after a popular hair cut. Either way, she’s the prettiest little cat this side of the Mississippi, and she’s waiting for her forever home. Do yourself a favor and call to schedule a virtual meet and greet with this gorgeous girl! 919-942-7387, option 3. You can NAME YOUR PRICE for her and any of Orange County Animal Services’ other adoptable pets during August 2020 as part of our Clear The Shelters adoption event!

The adoption fee for cats and kittens includes the following services: spaying/neutering, deworming, microchipping, vaccinations and feline leukemia testing.

Orange County Animal Services is responsible for animal sheltering and animal control activities within Orange County.  Its mission is to meet the needs of residents by working with volunteers and other partners to deliver cost-effective and integrated services that ensure the health, safety and well-being of humans, pets and the community as a whole. The Animal Services Center is open for appointment-only services. For more information about available pets, adoption, and virtual meet and greets on this page: orangecountync.gov/287/Available-Pets.
