Every week seems to find us busy doing a little bit of everything around town. Click through our photos to see what we’ve been up to recently!
High Street Design
Sarah picked up this local mug from High Street Design at The Bazaar in Carrboro over the weekend. Every time she sips, she’ll think of the Triangle!
The Bazaar
Meg and Duncan Morgan of High Street Design at their booth (chosen for its proximity to Bull Cider Cider). They sell Carrboro-specific T-shirts, the mugs above and more.
Crossroads Chapel Hill
Andrea and Rory got a sneak peek of the Carolina Inn’s new restaurant. (Luckily for the rest of us, it opened on September 18.) Tip: if you go, Andrea said the Fried Green Tomato Salad is can’t-miss!
Pepper Festival
Will you be at the 8th Annual Pepper Festival at Briar Chapel this weekend? We will and so will 45 chefs, beverage purveyors and artisans!
Roost
Friday brought immaculate weather, and Andrea took advantage by checking out Isabel Taylor at Fearrington’s Roost.
Pizza at Roost
And the wood-fired sweet potato and pear pizza at Roost was on point!
The Bagel Bar
The best way to start any day is with a lox bagel from The Bagel Bar! Being so close to our office, it is a frequent spot for breakfast or lunch for many of our staff members.

Here, Audrey Thompson visits one of the animals on her family’s T5-Farms. Dad Randy home-schools the youngest three kids, and the family business is part of the curriculum. “They get a lot of education out here, as well as at farmers’ markets,” Randy says. “Dealing with people, dealing with money…”
