Get into the spirit of the season with festive performances, holiday markets and plays!

Shoppers wander around the Elf Market, searching for gifts for family and friends.

THURSDAY: 

Go back in time at Orange Community Players rendition of the classic holiday film,  “It’s A Wonderful Life.” This play is staged as a live 1940s radio broadcast and shows a wonder of talents as actors play numerous roles and sound effects are done through Foley artists. 

FRIDAY:

Visit FRANK Gallery for their Holiday Exhibit Reception, featuring work from FRANK members, guests and new artists. The show highlights gift giving, with pieces coming from a variety of media and price points in order to encourage giving local this holiday season. 

SATURDAY: 

Get away from the hustle and bustle of the season, and enjoy the peaceful holiday splendor of the North Carolina Botanical Garden for its Winter in the Garden Holiday Festival, with luminarias, kids’ crafts, music, food and photos with a festive Rameses. 

SUNDAY: 

See visions of sugarplums dance across the stage during the Carolina Ballet’s 15th season performing “The Nutcracker” at Memorial Hall.
