THURSDAY:
Watch pianists Marina Lomazov and Joseph Rackers masterfully perform the works of Mozart, Stravinsky and more in a recital of duets at James and Susan Moeser Auditorium in Hill Hall.
FRIDAY:
Carolina Performing Arts presents Vancouver-based dance company Kidd Pivot in a brand-new performance piece called “Revisor.” Created by esteemed choreographer Crystal Pite and theater artist Jonathon Young, the work explores the themes of corruption, farce and the forces of radical change.
SATURDAY:
Learn about the sun, moon and stars through cultural stories told throughout Asia at Morehead Planetarium and Science Center. As part of the Star Families series, the event aims to teach children about astronomical phenomena.
SUNDAY:
Join the UNC Department of Music in its fifth annual concert featuring its 1843 Pleyel piano at Person Hall. The department pays tribute to Pleyel instruments, which were favorites of Frédéric Chopin and many of his nineteenth-century contemporaries, through performances by UNC faculty and students.
